Kennel Unavoq is registered with the Danish Kennel Club since 2000 and we have had malamutes since 1997.
We are also members of Dansk Polarhunde Klub, Svenska Polarhundklubben and Norsk Alaskan Malamute Klubb.
The name, Unavoq, is eskimo for "wagging the tail", and that is our main goal:
Happy, healthy dogs with good temperaments.
Over the years we have been active working the dogs with cart, bike and sled. All our dogs have passed
the Swedish sleddog test. Showing and breeding has been our other passions. We breed occasionally, when
we feel that we have something positive to add to the breed. Our main focus is working ability and we do
not use dogs with HD or other known health problems in our breeding program.
